In reference to being devoted to one's home life. If one is domestic, he or she might refer to themselves as the caregiver, stay-at-home-dad/mom, homemaker, devoted wife/husband, mother/father, etc. Much of the time spent would be doing household tasks and chores. Some of these might include: cooking, cleaning, caring for the children, managing family's appointments, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. Domesticity may take up as much time as a "full-time" job, if not more. Often times, this term is associated with a woman's role in the family.
